I have personally seen the benefits of daily dog walking in my own 2 dogs, Cindy, a West Highland Terrier and Yoda, a Maltese/Yorkie mix. Cindy has for the most part been great out on her walks. She is extremely social, loves to let people approach her and pet her and is very good on her leash. Yoda, on the other hand, tuns into this ferocious monster dog that pulls extremely hard on his leash to the point of almost choking himself and barks aggressively at other dogs that are just walking or passing by. The thought of taking him out in public was not only embarrassing, but I can’t help but think and wonder why my dog had so much pent up aggression.
